As URETEK continues to improve their expanding polymer
for soil stabilization in saturated environments, the competition continues to claim they have a comparable material. URETEK’s research and development division, along with Bayer Material Science, recently obtained a sample of the competition’s material (“D”) and conducted a side by side test to compare performance in a completely saturated environment. This particular test determined how each material handled being injected into a completely wet environment. With high or volatile moisture content a common culprit for structural problems, structural structural polymer must maintain rigidity and compressive strengths in harsh soil environments.
